Catching up on my reading this morning, I was sent and email regarding HAFA which included some note on HAMP which let me to reading more on HARP. Are you confused yet? These are programs to help home homeowners in need of assistance.
Are these programs really helping or does it delay the inevitable? So far from what I am hearing, it seems we are only delaying the inevitable but only time will tell.

HAFA – Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives Program
